Ok I have an older A-5 and am not sure if they have changed the barrel connection. My A-5 use the quarter turn thick connection. I recently bought an Apex barrel marked for an A-5 and it has very fine threads, so the issue is how do I go about connecting these two? Does anyone know about any kind of adapter out there? Thanks for the help.

You must have bought your gun with a Flatline. That is the only barrel that fits into the A-5 with the quarter turn. All other barrels, including the stock A-5 barrel, require a barrel adapter. It should have come with your gun, but apparently not. They can be had from any retailer or from Tippmann for a few bucks. |

Just A-5 barrel adapter with A-5 threads. Part 0269 on the A-5 parts list, I believe.
