Many thnks for the wuick reply and detailed feed back. I only play 5-8 times a year, hence my delay in actually "purchasing" a Marker. I'll definately look into the Palmer Stabilizer, and see what I can find out about those. I'll probably run CO2 for the forseeable future as far as I can tell. is tuning an RT an indepth process? (and the range I play at has no issue with what people bring into the facility as long as you play like and adult...no pin-down-violent-acts of aggression). |

If you are putting an RT/Cyclone and also using a stabilizer or expansion chamber, I would suggest upgrading to 1/8" lines and fittings. I have nearly the same setup on my 98 and had some issues before upgrading. Here is the link: http://www.tippmannparts.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=catalog.pr odInfo&productID=736&categoryID=8 You can also get other things such as the RT etc there as well. However, look into Ebay stores too. Sometimes they are considerably cheaper. Edited by oldpbnoob - 05 August 2008 at 3:19pm |

oldpnoob, agian, thanks for the rapid reply. I'll look into the 1/8th inch lines. I'll assume they can't be that hard to put in. |

Yes, very easy. You literally unscrew the one and put on the other. In your case, since you are adding everything new, you would just put these on instead of the ones that come with the RT/Cyclone. If you do not get the upgrade, you will have to buy a kit with a T valve anyways and it will run you at least $5. Might as well spend the extra 15 for the piece of mind. Obvious word of advice when buying online is trying to find someone that has several items you need. It's hard to resist the "deal' sometimes, but when you start adding in shipping the deal isnt so hot a lot of times. Oh, and while I am handing out advice. Get a "small parts kit". It comes with all the O-rings, an extra ball detent and some other little things that tend to get lost/wear out. Also pick up some tank O-rings. Buy em in bulk. You will need them.
