I prefer the J&J. You could always get an Apex for it in the future too. Or a Lapco Big Shot with the ready tip on it. All of them Are great barrels but I swear by J&J.

omg... serious? I just spent 120$... where is it 40$? you must be thinking of the plain apex c98 barrel. Even at ActionVillage BT16 Apex is 100$... Edited by MonsterLopes - 07 August 2008 at 12:30am |

wow. Wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it. Even with duty and shipping charges, I would have still saved 40-60$... thanks for the link Edited by MonsterLopes - 07 August 2008 at 11:27am |

is the m4/m16 shroud in metal or plastic,
and how does it compare in size or quality to the alpha black one, im not really interested in the apex but if the shroud is of a good quality i might get it :P also the ak47 apex shroud from bt is metal, wood or plastic? and stupid question, would it be possible to mount a bt ak47 apex shroud on an alpha black, I'm pretty sure answer is no but i gotta ask :P Edited by Yann - 07 August 2008 at 5:50pm |

not sure about your last question but the shroud for the bt 16 is plastic, its a little longer than the stock barrel, and its a better barrel but most are from the stock barrel IMO
