NO!!!

Co2 tanks are made for co2 not compressed air. You are able to buy compressed air (a.k.a. hpa tanks) for about $60. You can ONLY fill HPA tanks off of a scuba tank.

ya.. Co2 tanks are for Co2.. Air tanks are for High pressure air. Which you either need a scuba tank or a High pressure air compressor.. those garage compressors wont work either..

^ I don't know dude.  My local field is owned by a farmer and he has a compressor in his garage that fills to 5000 psi...  It's pretty tiny too, smaller than some of the ones sold at retail stores because it doesn't have a barrel size tank on it.

But anyway,  I know what you're trying to say.

Technically you could, provided you swap the pinvalve for a HPA reg and fill to less than 1800 psi.

the HPA compressors are generally "boosters" you fill a large tank with "shop air" ~120psi then you feed the booster with 120psi and it will compress it to 3-7k (depending on the compressor)

MAX pressure for co2 tanks is 1800 (if you filled it to 1800 you would blow the disk) co2 at 70F* and 0 humidity runs around 800psi but is stored in a liquid form. the liquid will expand into gas and keep the tank at 800psi until the liquid runs out. (thats why gauges dont work)
