New Army basic won’t fire

   I bought an army basic model from Bass pro for my son.  The box looked new and all of the equipment was there.  The mechanism was already cocked when he took it out.  We have hooked it all up and it won't release to fire.  Safety on and off, have tried everything.  We have other guns and have never had a problem.  What is going on or what are we missing? 

NEVER MIND I FIGURED IT OUT-- WE don't have the BASIC we have the E version, duh.

	If it was cocked in the box, you should make sure that your rear drive spring isn't worn.
