I was wondering if anybody knows if a vertical grip will fit on the X36 foregrip. Of if there is a rail you can buy to put on the bottom so it will go on?

You can remove the stock rails from your stock X-7 shroud and add them to the x-36 shroud. Or many online retailers carry rails in different sizes.
