i have a 98 custom pro and the e-trigger got wet and now doesnt work. i was wondering if its possible to just put a regular trigger kit from a 98 custom in it or maybe even a response trigger.

try taking out the etrigger and drying it out thuroughly, then put on a new battery and check it.
If that doesn't work, then you can consider a new trigger. |

Take your E trigger assembly and put it in a bowl of dry rice and let it sit for a week. The rice will absorb any moisture that is in it. Works with cell phones.
