Hello. I have 2 porblems with my alpha black tactical icluding the egrip and a 98 cyclone.
first off the problem with the egrip: At random times i will shoot and you can hear the solenoid hitting but the gun is not shooting at all. then, the red battery light will go on even with brand new bateries (high quality 15 dollar paintball bateries) just installed. Please give me some feedback with some of your past experiences and/or solutions.
second: i bought a 98 cyclone a couple weeks ago and fitted it on without any drilling or modding. i screwed the link into the power tube as tighly as possible, and went to play. The cyclone worked for about 50 shots untill my egrip stoppped working, after i got the egrip fixed with a new battery the egrip worked for a little while longer but the cyclone would not spin when i shot. i stopped using the gun for a while and gave it to the guy to fix it. he said ok and came back 2 minutes later and showed me that the cyclone was spinning. on and off it will work and someone tols me it was because i was using co2 and i need to use air because air doesnt freeze like co2 does. is this true or is there another problem? Please give me feedback and solutions.

2nd problem first.
This is probably a CO2 problem. CO2 drops pressure when it is cold or when you fire fast. Fire the gun at a low rate of fire. If this solves the problem, then HPA is the solution to the cyclone not working at a high rate of fire. 1st problem. Change the battery again.....I know you put a fresh battery in the gun, but sometimes odd things happen. If this solves the problem, it was easy. If the problem still is not solved, swap out the sear and sear spring. If it still does not fix the problem, it could be the board, but this is rare. Tippmann E boards don't fail often. |
