So, i saw how Mack wanted to see more on my pistol and hopper. So, here are all of the guns i am have...
First is my main gun, an old 32 Degree's Rebel. It has been a faithful servant since i got it 8 years ago. ![]() Next is my Pistol, a Delta .68 Currently my favorite gun to use....looking to buy a second if the gods of Ebay are willing to bestow such a gift on me. ![]() Now the other side of both of them together. ![]() My other three guns are as follows; a Brass Eagle Eradicator (cheapest gun was used as painting technique guinea pig), 98 Custom, and a very old Pro-lite. Appearing in said order.... ![]() ![]() Unfortunately, the Pro-lite is having some troubles...so thats why its in the drawer for now. I paid $10 at a yard sale and have since spent almost $50 trying to restore it. I only need a new main valve pin and she'll be good as new. But a bonus for getting the Pro-lite was what came with it....i love garage sales! ![]() Now here is a pic of my bro's gun, which is exactly what mine used to look like, in all its blinding glory (minus ducktape and zipties). It was his main gun for years until he recently got a lightly used Spyder. ![]() Below are the guns that i gave to my brother to keep when he moved into his house...His green Spyder, his Delta, and an Icon. ![]() We both use our version of the LongBow, PVC tubing that holds 37 balls. But its fun to see peoples faces when they see that 'hopper' and laugh, then they shoot 1000 rounds by the end of the day, and i've only gone through maybe 200. I really like the paint jobs. I am also impressed with the "hopper."* I assume it is gravity-fed, rock-to-feed? I've never known anyone who was happy with a Rebel. (This must be the exception that proves the rule.)

Nice collection you have there. I also like the "Longbow" hopper.

I just realized this morning that since i had modified my Rebel to use the same ball detent as a Tippman 98, all four big guns of mine have the same ball detent, minus the pistol, which i think has the best design. That makes it alot easier to keep replacement parts around.
But a word of caution, if you ever refit your marker with a completely different style of detent, make SURE that the ball will still fall, and rest in the same place BEFORE you go spend $30 on paint and chop every 4th ball. I have since moved the detent forward to where it allows the ball to fall in, and rest in place without any trouble. Thanks for the props on the paint, i did the same style on my mask as well. The hardest part of the painting was the fact that i live in Ohio, and unless one waits until april, its a pain to try to paint something in a cold poorly lit detached garage. And yes, we have both been very happy with our Rebels. The biggest complaint is the universal joint they used on both ends of the air hose from the bottom line. It occasionally leaks like there's no tomorrow when the tank is first inserted. This i easily enough fixed with a set of pliers, but is still a bit anoying. Their old, loud, but are easy enough to ghetto manufacture parts for without the use of a machine shop. |

I am up in the Lima area. Out of curiosity, what fields do you play at? Only one I have been to down in that area is I70. It's an OK field, but pretty small.

It used to be bigger about 4 years ago, then they just stopped using they're good woodsball course and made the other a larger speedball field that has some trees, so they still call it they're woodsball course. I just went in November, and i was not impressed at all.
Other than that, i just play at my property in Yellow Springs, i typically don't go to fields unless its a group thing. |

I had the same impression of it. The 'woodsball" course was basically a speedball course with trees. I didn't even see where another field could have been. Appreciate the comment back. Always looking for new fields to play at.
