I found a "how to" on making a nerf rocket launcher using a 12g CO2 adapter and plumping fittings. I originally was going to use brass peices, but noticed a significantly lower price of cast plumbing fittings vs brass. Does anyone know if the cast have a high enough PSI rating to be able to handle the pressure? |

should be marked on them... i wouldent use anything not marked.
IMO steel should be ok, however... look how thin the punctured seal of the 12g is, but also consider if this is something your gunna keep for a while put the extra $ into some quality fittings. brass wont rust and shouldent crack. cast can crack and will rust out over time. |
