For about a week I couldn't gather any inspiration for new mixes or anything to do. Now that finally got the songs I want to mash, I can't since my whole windows side of my computer is gone.

I got a rootkit (thank you Pirate Bay), so I decided to reformat. I have a Lenovo so I have to use One Key Recovery, but all it did was initialize for about 5 hours. I got in patient and decided I was going to remove the Linux partition from Windows only to find out that One Key was actually doing something and erased my C: drive, which One Key apparently saves the images its going to use to reformat (genius!). So now all I have is Linux partition and the One Key which can't do anything since it has no image file. Now I have to contact Lenovo tomorrow and see if they can send me an actual Restore CD, since their crappy Recovery System was a total bust.

All I want is my FL Studio back. I miss it so.

He was at my school in the fall and people thought he was awesome.  I didn't go, mainly 'cause that's not my kind of music.

Yeah, the whole linux side still works. But I can't actually boot from a CD since I don't have a CD drive, I have a HD-DVD drive. What I was hoping for was a CD with a restore image, but after a quick search I found all the Lenovo drivers I had before and I'm just going to reformat through a live USB version of vista a friend of mine has.

And I actually enjoy GirlTalk, but his mashup style is not what I had in mind. I'm just using multiple tracks to create a sample for beats I'm creating. I guess mashup was the wrong term.

Hey don't feel bad I got an old windows 98 computer with the entire harddrive wiped clean. I had to reinstall most of the drivers needed for this system and I still have to find internet scripting so the freaking internet works like it's supposed to. I agree that girltalk SUCKS. I love a good mashup, and all these people raved about him so I checked it out. Garbage. No-names make better stuff than that. She sells grapevines as fantastic, I can't hear the original the same anymore.
