What's the easiest way to strip the stock finish on a 98? Heat gun? I"m very partial to methods that don't require radical chemicals.

umm..hmm...you could try sanding it off, scraping, you just want the body paint off correct, sandblast, maybe powerwash, other than that you could use paint thinner, or if you want to paint it anyway just paint over it, use it as a base like i did with my pro-carbine i used the black in the tiger stripe pattern
