Rear adjust varies the spring tension instead of choking off gas like the stock system uses. Rear velocity adjusting will give a slight effeciency benefit.

Read the manual. On A5 and X7 guns, the tombstone adapter is the adapter between the gas line and the reciever. It has the tombstone-shaped bit that slides up into the valve.

Rear cocking only allows you to close off the side cocking slot so crud cant get inside. Not a big deal.

Not in the slightest.

Quote is upgrading the cyclone system worth it?

For most people, no. Unless you find yourself out-shooting the cyclone, why waste the money?

The stock cyclone is capable of handling up to I beleive 15bps. Not many people can pull the trigger that fast on a semi-auto Tippmann, so unless you have an E-grip or RT... no. Only exception IMO is replacing the plastic parts of the Cyclone with the available metal ones. But again, if it isn't broke...

You can, but turning the adjuster in and out will accomplish the same thing. Adjustment capabilities depend on the adjuster. I have one for a 98 that came as part of a stock that had very little adjustment, maybe 1/4 of an inch. Another that I purchased had nearly 3/4 of an inch worth of adjustment on it.
