I am going to get a phenom in a few days and I was wondering if anyone has any experience running with both CO2 and compressed air? Basically is the compressed air worth the expense? Or can I get nearly the same performance, rapid fire, accuracy, consistency ease of maintainance, etc. out of running CO2. I've tried reading some of the other threads but none of them really talk about how the new flex valve treats either propellant or if the maintainance is any harder using CO2.

I havent picked up my Phenom yet but in my experiance with other markers HPA is the way to go. IMO it is just as important of an upgrade as a aftermarket barrel. It is alot more user friendly to your marker. Spikes arent drastic like Co2 easier on your rings ect. Most corses also let you fill for free.

I used hpa then hooked up the co2 to see what it does. Me personally the hpa was more than worth the money. Go hpa and don't look back

I still rock CO2 on mine. It has good consistancy with it, and it takes around 50-75 nonstop full auto shots to get the valve to stop cycling. Works just fine for me, but of course my field doesnt fill HPA, so thats not an option anyway.

I just used my phenom and it busted alot of balls with hpa but co2 almost none. I just opened a post on my problem so you might want to check it out if I get any good responses from anyone! But I liked the co2!
