If you have a cheap tank, then it sounds like you are using CO2.
A lot of barrel breaks in a flatline is a sure sign that you are using cheap paint. |

Flatlines are not ment to be accurate.
The way the paintball moves is it goes up then down then straightens out. so if thats what your seeing, Thats normal.
Flatlines make the paintball move wierd.
So the inaccuracy your explaining, Unless its straying left to right when it comes right out of the barrel. Thats completley normal.
As far as accuracy goes. Shoulda gotten a Freak Or a J&J.
Hammerhead is good too.

Whether youre using the Apex or the Flatline, holding the Marker itself will also affect the balls accuracy.
And as you might already know, the Ramp inside can be adjusted to apply the Back Spin on the ball before it exits and that the housing can be turned in either direction to apply the Trick Shots, that being said, the Shooter has to remember in which Level the Rubber Ramp inside the Apex Housing is positioned. The same can be said with the Flatline, in which slightly tilting the marker to either side, the ball will curve in the opposite direction. And dont think that just because the Apex can send the ball further than the Flatline, that the ball is going to hit the target Dead On, because its the same with the Flatline, the further the ball goes, accuracy is lost. Ive used both the Apex and the Flatline with all my Markers and I only use them to keep the OpFor's Heads Down, not for Accurate Shots...I use a Straight Barrel when I want Dead On Accuracy. |

Repeated for emphasis. With a lot of work the F/L can be quite accurate but it will never have the pinpoint accuracy that some of the better straight barrels get. However, the capability to reach beyond the ranges of straight barrels makes it a very effective fire suppression tool. |

Okay the paint hooks to the left and slices to the right like a golf ball with a bad swing. Should I use compressed air, or is there a way I can use CO2 and still get good accuracy. As CO2 is more readily available. I did buy a rifled barrel and it did not help so I bought a Flat line because I was told this would help. Nothing seems to work. |

you could get a stabilizer. the palmer stabilizer can be used with both CO2 and HPA to give you more controlled pressure.

Nailed it.
If you honestly believe its your air. Rent a HPA tank for the day.
Most fields Rent out HPA.

Sounds a bit like inconsistent air flow...
Might be a power tube issue?

I thought this also, what kind of power tube would you recommend? Thank you all for your help. I appreciate it a lot. I am getting some good info here.. ![]() I believe I am going to switch barrels and I bought a HPA tank. As far as barrels which is better the J&J or the Freak. I just want simple accuracy. I like one shot one kill kind of thing, as much as possible, want long distance accuracy. |
