This man is a threat, buying votes blantantly with no redress, and threatening the 'nuclear option' which he so decried when it suited him back when Bush threatened it.

Even if he isn't, we get back to the need for people in leadership positions to not just avoid wrong-doing, but to avoid the appearance of wrong-doing as well.

Blatantly buying votes? Did you read the article? It's pure speculation and suspicion. And it's the weekly standard. They're as unbiased as the Smittys from 2004.

Its always coincidense and bad timing with a Democrat, but pure vote buying when done by a Republican, that is the current spin on issues such as these.
