Hey, ive taken the next step and desided to buy my own paintballing gear. Ive got myself a Tippman X7, the Hammerhead Straightling barrel and a 3000psi air unit and the vents avatar goggles!
A day before my gun was due to arrive i had a phone call from the shop i ordered it from offering me a BT-4 instead as they were getting a load of complaints about the X7 cyclone feed system chopping the balls. I turned down the offer for the BT-4 instead as i wasnt sure if they were just bull**edited**ting to try and shift stock so i recieved my x7 yesterday. I havnt had the chance to use it yet so i was just woundering is the stuff about the x7 cylcone constantly chopping 1 in 5balls true!? or is this false!? If it is true is it possible to remove the cyclone on the gun altogether and fit a normal hopper adapter and use a hopper with a cyclone in it like a halo? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks |

It's BS, I know plenty of people that own X7's and they do not chop. My A5's had Cyclones and I also had one on my 98C. None had issues.
