My son used his 98 custom in a tourn. this weekend. Used 1 tank of CO2 fine. After refilling tank and putting it back on co2 just goes thru marker til tank is empty. Tried different tanks and does same thing. Help please...

Who was filling the tanks? (Self-fill, tournament organizers, reps from a field, etc?)

Just to be clear, the CO2 is going through the gun, not around the seal.

Is your sone cocking the marker before putting the tank on? Is the CO2 coming out of the barrel, from the fitting going into the marker or....? If it is coming out of the barrel, something in the valve has gone bad. Could be a bad cup seal, O-ring, or spring. If it is coming out of the air connection going into the bottom of the valve, could be a bad-oring there. Check the manual, take the marker apart and go through each O-ring to make sure they are all in place and in good working order. |
