Well just got back from Arizona. Left sat am took direct route I80w-US81S-US56/54(two lane)I40W-I17S Long slow (on two lane)and strange trip. Our KIA was dragging my bike trailer that I made a light plywood box on it for step-sons household goods.
Got to Chandler,AZ sun @1600, dumped his stuff and made it back to Flagstaff,AZ for the night. Decided to take 'big roads' back, I-17N-I40E-I25N,I76E-I80E longer but faster. Strange part was I25N of Las Vegas, NM, no lights either side for miles, just dark and no traffic southbound, or northbound for over an hour, just us, and a thunderstorm to our east lit up sky with multiple lightning strikes for about an hour.

We were fueling in Grants,NM monday when I noticed that all the L braces holding the trailer box on broke and trailer slid back in frame 4 in, only thing that kept it on were the long 1/2 in eyebolts snagging trailer frame. We backed against a concrete pole, slid trailer back on and cargo-strapped the he** out of it.

Well we rolled into house 1900, 2757miles total, in 4 days. NEVER AGAIN. Even though I drove big truck this trip was just miserable, a big truck seat and set up far batter than a SUV.
