Yesterday, we lost a Shipmate in a tragic accident. I cannot mention details or circumstances surrounding the death, as the specifics have not yet been released in an official statement.

In the past 36 hours, I have grieved the sudden loss of a Shipmate and friend, and reminded myself of how privileged I am to be a part of so many people's lives.

Today, I celebrated Thanksgiving at sea with my shipmates and really thought about what it was I was thankful for. Simply put:

I am thankful for the gift of life, the ability to live it, and the people who fill it.

That includes you guys as well.

I hope I didn't put a damper on anyone's festive-mood. Losing a friend/family member or loved one is a challenge, but taking away something positive is something I've always challenged myself to do.

I am thankful for all the cool people who have touched my life in some way over the years. Anyone who's ever donated a couch, spare room, bed, or floor for me to crash on. Anyone who's ever given me a reason to keep trying to play music, or liked a song of mine.

And even all you bastards that are still on this godforsaken forum.

Yeah, it's been awhile. Haven't played WoW in nearly a year, or really any games for that matter. My good pc took a crap and I never got around to fixing it. Kinda got used to not gaming.
