Hello, my A5 basic burps like it's running out of CO2 when being gassed up, but then shoots normally without any issues. Is this something I need to be concerned about?

Oh I should also mention that if I don't cock it prior to gassing up it burps then cocks itself...if that makes any sense. What is causing this?

You are supposed to cock it before attaching the gas supply. Read the manual.

Of course. Though, I got it from a friend who didn't have it. I was treating it like my old spider. Did I do any damage to it?

Only if you see and hear gas running out of the barrel when you screw in your gas/air source.

All you need to do is cock the marker before
installing your air source. What's happening is the valve is pressurizing &
throwing the rear bolt back against the drive spring, then the drive spring
throws the rear bolt back forward against the valve. That's why it sounds like
its "running on" or skipping to full-auto. |

Thanks! I'm used to my old Spyder which you can cock it back after screwing in the tank. I've downloaded a manual and I will do this from now on. I was concerned that I bought a broken gun!
