Got the majority of my model railroad layed out, other than the two expensive cross overs near the 'Nebraska' station. Now we start terraining, plaster and hydrocal, water and Elmer's Glue All, construction paper and cardboard, cork and foam sealer, earth tone paints, and terrain mixes and foliage. Going to be fun. Momma is in charge of buildings and such. Her Nebraska hometown goes in, our 'farm' and a mid west 'city' a New York city, Chicago at the turn in the "L", and a small blow by station on the long rear straight. Like a big dumb bunny forgot to cut the river in before layerd track, so got to now deal with sawdust. Got the bridges up, all three, so Momma and me, a vacumn and my dremel and we cut the river tonight.
Got the wiring diagram done out for all the turnouts, signals, and power distribution blocks, need a trip to Radio Shack for all the wire and other componants to fit this all together. And once I go from standard DC to DCC not as much wiring to redo as I thought. |
