Medical conditions really catching up. I fell over getting on my XR650 as leg gave out, so a decision was made. I traded my two wheel motorcycles for a CAN-AM RS-S three wheeler. I modded it to where the brake for all wheels is now on the handlebars, semi auto transmission where shifter on left control box on handlebars, neat system manual up shift, auto downshift. I have forward pegs incoming and once done my legs are totally out of the picture, which is great.
I still have my CRF250 to chase the grandkids on the back field track, but momma gave 'permission' for me to get a 'quad' next year. TRX250X from Honda with auto transmission, and I will put handle bar brake on it as well. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Saddletime-Ceresco/986591398057786 My site for the track in the back. Going to host a Midwest 'vintage' race here soon, weekend rider count increasing, and a lot of new friends, as people are coming here to 'learn' and have fun with their kids rather than the local 'supercross' will hurt you track. I do 5-10 laps daily as my Physical Training, and granddaughters are getting fast. Lilly the youngest is now on a KDX110L racing bike is faster than her older sister on her CRF125FB. Next year we start racing with grandpa as the pit crew/support staff, racing by proxy. Troop and his 3 kids now live here at the farm as well, so next spring another grandson on another bike.......One thing about moto-cross, once you are in you can not afford to do anything else, bad or good. |

Push-button auto shifting on an ATV is nice enough, but auto is just fine. If you're happy with can-am, I'm pretty sure Polaris has power steering that even old ladies can use on their ATVs.

Getting older bites.
I played every weekend last summer. This summer I've played twice courtesy of the pins in my back reminding me of my age. |
