see my sig for specs on my gun. i was wondering if anybody would have
any idea on why my 98c sounds like a freakin hand cannon. when i go play at the fields, ppl think im shootin hot just by the sound of the thing, even though i chrono at 285 consistently. anybody have any ideas? thanks! |

flatline is somewhat load n u have a speedball gun but a woodsball barrel...jsut to u let uk that ur flatline wont perform as good under high rof the flatline has no portin so its loud...get a new barrel itll improve sound |

soo is mine it sounds like a rocket, i think it may be b/c of my polished internals, b/c it wasnt louad till after i did that, i kinda like it load ( i have a bigshot ) it sounds cool and scares the noobs they think like im shoot 600fps lol , and i never got something no matter how quite u are once u shoot i kinda kno where u are

well.. i figure it was suppose to be quiet after i got the LPK and nitro. i swear it was quiet when i had an expansion chamber + co2... oh wells, it was pretty funny the other week when i played, shootin 14bps and being that loud made ppl run like there was a bomb goin off...

I scare the beejeesus outta people with my A-5, since I don't run to bunkers. I just walk up behind them, and start shooting at a guy over there, and they almost wet themselves when I start firing, since they didn't even know I was behind them.

go to radio shack, buy some 1/4 inch shrink tubing and shrink it on your sear spring (dunno if there are springs on the ebolt
 )

Yup, sounds like your barrel. When nOObs see shots comin from 150ft. away and think it's a friggin sniper rifle, it's fun to watch em' run around and scream like little girls. Guess there's always a plus side to things. I guess, because you're using a flatline, you could turn the gun down to about 275fps. It might reduce the noise a bit, and the flatline should shoot a little better. But, if you are a speedballer, like You WOn't See Me said, it doesn't really matter; plus, a flatline's not exactly a speedball barrel anyway.

turn down the lpr of the ebolt, turn down your reg and turn down your velocity and its not the flatline, my friend has a 98 with flatline and r/t he rips on that thing and its not that loud Edited by meteora |

no shrink tubing on the ebolt, cuz well... theres no sear... and if i do metoera's suggesting.. i mite as well throw the paintballs instead of using a gun!
hahah. as for the speed ball, i dunno... i dont really classify my self as a speed or rec ball player....i just... i just love to shoot ppl (especially in the goggles, its fun when they run around like headless chickens....)

ok, since you dont have a sear to make it quieter n2 and lpk + a whisper would do the trick Edit- oops u have that stuff already, go fer a whisper or stiffy then Edited by whiteknight457 |
