Get 1 million in gold, the value doesnt go anywhere but up since every day we turn gold into dust and it gets thrown into the atmosphere and it ends up underground in little molecules that are impossible to extract.

land!!!! you could buy, wait 5 years sell it, make more money, buy more land sell it in 5 years, buy more land sell it in 5 years, buy more land sell it in 5 years, depending on the area and the growth rate you could turn the 1 million into some where between 2-20 million in 20 years, maybe even more.
