items needed. tippman squad buster, fishing line, rat trap, (not mouse, rat) and tape.

ok, tie your fishing line to the trigger mechinism on your rat trap. tie the nade down to where the thing will flipp down , but carefull where you place the nade, if you do it wrong, it'll cut off the circulation of the paint, and wont spray that much. put it so the end peice of the metal flinger is paralell w/ the center fold of the nade.find a rarrow path way w/ two trees. tie the end of the fishing line to one tree, and put the other one behind the other tree. when the line is toggled, it will trigger the trap, flinging the metal bar onto the grenade, blowing the red cap of, and getting paint on the enemy.  please remeber to remove the codder pin before leaving the trap to do its job, or it wont. and also guys? watch your fingers.

ive tried it twice, never put one in a game though. i thaught of it daydreaming in math. wet willies are better then squad busters, but if you use a wet willie, it'll cut off the circ. of half the paint. w/ the squad buster, theres 2 mouths, so if the metal trap lands in the creese of the nade, the cap will fly off, spiting paint out of both ends. looks like squad busters will come in handy finally. tippman should put out a cheap trip wire nade like the one i described, they could sell it for like 20 bucks a pop, i'd buy it, u?

Good idea, but the squadbuster/rat trap device would have to be dropped off the empire state building while tied to a bomb before it goes off

dear negative nancy,

i am fully aware of you concern about the trap accident. unfortunatley, accidents do happen. but look at the bright side, it wont be your foot stock in the trap. kidding fellas..... if it seems dangerous, do not attempt durring a game. plus, if your like me, i wear boots out on the feild. and if he did step on the trap, he'd still get covered in paint. for those of you guys that said they'd like to try it, go for it, and tell me how things tern out.

Tripwires serve other purposes also.  Last year when I was out on the field I found an 10 foot length of bailing wire.  It gave me an idea for something a little different to do so I tied it to a small tree trunk in the open and ran the other end underneath a large bush so you couldn't see that end.  It wasn't attached to anything but everyone that found it assumed there was something in the brush.  I just waited quietly and shot everyone who stopped to check it out.
