First upgrade for a 98 is almost always a new barrel. Check around the
forum or check out www.pbreview.com for some info on barrels... Oh, and PLEASE, PLEASE don't start a new thread called "What barrel should I get for my 98?" There are already a hundred of these, so please just read those. Most people on here will just recommend the Lapco Bigshot, J&J Ceramic, Flatine, or whatever barrel they use... Edited by FyreFly |

If you play woods, I would remote the tank. Give the gun a little less weight, and makes it look more like a "real" run.
Get you a 20oz tank and a coiled remote with on/off valve. |

^^Let's skip on looks for now and concentrate on performance. If you already have an aftermarket barrel then your already on your way. If your running co2, I would get them anti-syphoned. After that maybe an expansion chamber, or if you play more than 6 times a month I would suggest a Palmer Stabilizer. The stabilizer will be more expensive than the x-chamber but will outperform any x-chamber on the market not to mention giving you a very consistent woodsball setup! |

It means the tank has an anti-siphon tube installed into it inorder to keep
liquid CO2 out of the gun. Its very cheap and offers a big improvement for the money for CO2, but still not as consistent as HPA. |

Bigshot Barrel (any size will work) and Palmer Inline Stabilizer installed in front of the Air Source Adapter (the thing under the handle) will cost $125 together and will be the only upgrades you will ever need. I'd get them off www.countypaintball.com! Both of these upgrades make your gun as accurate as it possibly can, and make the gun about half as loud, but they do nothing for firepower. Most fields do not allow the Response Trigger so I wouldn't invest in one unless you get an agitated hopper/Qloader first and you are going to play in the woods with your friends. If you want a nice setup without spending too much money, I'd just get the Bigshot Barrel and the Palmer Inline Stabilizer only. |

I'd also recommend an agitated hopper, even if your not using an RT or
E-Bolt. A Revy will do you just fine and keep you from worrying about shaking your gun to keep the balls loading. If you are thinking about getting an RT or E-Bolt in the future however, you MAY want a faster hopper... but the Revy is a good reliable hopper for woodsball. |

No, you just have to make sure the nitro tank is a "high pressure" output tank. Nitro tanks come in three styles: 1.High pressure- for tippmanns and other markers that require lots of pressure to operate properly. 2.Low pressure- for high end speed ball markers that only require minimal pressure to operate. 3.Adjustable- for either types of markers. You can adjust the pressure to suit the type of marker being used. go to www.crossfireinc.com for more info Edited by -=Headwound=- |
