Yes, you can head on over to Walmart and buy yourself a Tippmann Model 98 starter pack.

If not, I got my Tippmann 98 Custom from www.xpaintball.com

Good luck, have fun.

The nice thing about going on-line is that places like http://www.xtremez.com/paintball/ or http://www3.888paintball.com/ allow you to upgrade player packs, so you can get 20oz co2 instead of 9oz, or thermal instead of nonthermal masks.  A lot of the masks that come in player packs are very low end.  Your local shop might be a good choice, but I'd look on-line first so you can see what the rest of the world charges.  Your shop should be charging more because they have overhead on-line stores don't face.  Shops also have a real person you can talk to and markers you can see, touch, and feel.  Some shops even let you fire, or at least dry fire their markers.  It is nice to support your local shop, but you should not be paying manufacturer's list prices!

I would recommend a 98c or A5 player pack with up grades like I mentioned above.  Buy a good squeegee right away as well!

Any site that has the 98c power pack is great. It should be around $180. It includes everything you need.

Dont get an entire paintball starter set (the mask sucks), jus get the marker w/tank package only...its cheaper in price and go to your local pbshop and ask the guys to help you pick out a good mask that best suits you.
Do not steal....the government hates competition!

Don't buy the M98 pack. Wal-mart bought up all the leftover stock from a Tippmann warehouse. Go for a 98 Custom pack or a A-5 power pack (98C is better for beginners). The mask is good enough, otherwise the proshop guys will have you spend either $65 or $75 bucks (Proto Switch/ Dye Invision).
