Does anybody know anything about the super r/t mod ? Is it for the 98 custom or the a5. If so where can I get and for how much ??

Thanks (sorry about all the questions, new to the forum)

I believe it's for both the A-5 and 98c. To do this all you have to do is simply call Tippmann and tell them you have the LPK and R/T and ask them for the larger hose/fittings(even if you don't have the LPK ). They'll send you larger hoses/fittings for free. Then just replace the stock hose/fittings with the new ones and you're set. Also polish you're internals for the best performance.

Just make sure you have a loader that can feed about 20 bps, as this is how fast you will be shooting.

^^^Because when you have both the LPK and r/t you need the bigger hose/fittings for your gun to work properly.

The Z-boarded Eggy will probaly keep up but get the Halo. When you think about it, it's the smart thing to do. I mean, an Eggy ($70) + the Z-board ($20) will cost you $90. You could get a Halo B w/o rip drive for $110. And you won't even think about chopping.

^^Oh, that's a $75 difference. I would just get the Z-boarded Egg then. It can keep up to probably about 18, 19 bps or so (and yes, I know it's advertised at 23 bps, but on a gun with paint they don't feed as fast as they're avertised).

You'd think tippmann would have figured it out by now when they have like 4 times as many people that bought the LPK are requesting the larger fittings.

They need to just sell it as an upgrade.

thanks guys for all your help. I'm going to order the hoses and fittings from tippmann on Monday. ANd as for the hoppper I haven't decided yet.  Another downside on teh halo is the battery consumption. Its like 6 batteries.
