He took of his sweater for the last time in 05 or 06 I think. I used to watch his show too. Those puppets on the railroad track used to scare me though .

I watched it for a few minutes a couple days ago actually, just to see what the show was like because I can't ever remember watching it.

I didn't have TV as a kid, so I've never even seen Mr. Rodgers.

Kinda weird.

He won the ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny. 'Nuff said.

I actually do remember thinking about him lately, I don't remember why though.  I only liked his show when the trollie came into his house and when he fed his fish.  I didn't care for the other part with the puppets or whatever.

I never had cable television until last year, so my childhood has absent memories of Mr Rodgers.

I watched an episode a few months ago, since i don't really remember Mr. Rogers...he spent 15 minutes shelling peas....just humming...and saying...we're shelling some peas, friends...it was horrible.

I watched him all the time. My mom was in love with him. She wrote him a letter one time, and he personally wrote me and my mom some really inspiring letters.

I think that pretty much sums it up.

Mr Rogers was a local legend. He was born in Latrobe, which is pretty close to home for me (it's kind of a Pittsburgh suburb).

I was dating a girl a couple of years ago, and he was supposed to deliver her college commencement speech, but died before the graduation date.

Dude, I was there.

We fought together in 'Nam, I've still got the ears.

He was one crazy SEAL.

I guess it would be ironic if it were true...
