Anyone else pick it up yet? I've played for all of 5 minutes. My only qualm thus far is that "sprint" doesn't move fast enough. Otherwise, quite enjoyable.

I'd say it's a rental honestly. Great story, but if you're short on cash, renting it is probably going to be the way to go, though I hear MP is a lot of fun.

Into chapter 4 now. The story is good, the gameplay is good, but meshing them together was pretty meh.
I spent half the escort missions getting killed because the guy you escort goes all HULK SMASH on the enemies, minus the SMASH part. He runs in gets shot up, and goes all fetal. All the rifles and SMG's shoot exactly the same. The shotgun is pretty OP when you find it.

Though unlike MW2, they don't advertise their hacksite as they kill you.

Slightly related-Crysis 2 let me down. Gorgeous graphics, and the single player is great, but the MP lacks everything that made the first Crysis one of my fav's. If you like Halo's MP but wished it was more CoDish, or if you just want to get in on the story, go for it. But I don't see me playing it past a couple of months.
I may pick it up for PC for the mods and the scenery though. |

Ok, VAC did an update and caught most of the cheaters. The game is quite fun online.

Every time I log onto Steam, all I see is TheGuy playing Homefront. I'm on Rift, its kinda WoW-ish for grown-ups.
