Anyone else still terrorizing the Kerbs?

It's gotten pretty damn involved with docking, rovers, satellites, etc.  These days I build mostly planes and try to drop bombs on the space center.  In light of the new Star Wars movie coming out though, I built the an X-Wing to play around with.

I had someone mention it the other day so I went for the trial again. I'm barely getting off the ground, and when I do, all I want to do is blast them into space and abandon them.

The "story mode" they included in the full-priced version is a nice thing. I enjoy the economy they built.

Man, I really need to get this game. Just finished the Witcher 3 (was awesome), and now I need something else, although Skyrim has a way of sucking me back into it.

And for that, my neighbor thanks you as it keeps him in a good job. (He's also one of the artists on Fallout 3 and now Fallout 4)

That's pretty cool! I'm a huge fan of the Elder Scrolls series. I've been trying to get into Fallout 3: New Vegas, but I'm having  hard time doing that. I'm sort of interested in Fallout 4.

I have Fallout 4 preordered and it should be here waiting for me when I get back from leave.  So much for working on my run times.

Yeah, I had to sheepishly admit that I had only just started playing Fallout 3 about a month ago. He said "no worries, I just had to go buy a PS4 so I could play the game I've been working on for the past several years." Apparently his home computer is something like 10 years old with no upgrades. He simply has everything he needs at work.

I basically can't help but be in awe of his abilities knowing how effing beautiful Skyrim is. I could care less about the main quest. It's just being in that immersive and beautiful world and exploring it that makes it so appealing to me. Honestly, it's a first for me since most "sandbox" games bore me with the short main quest.

Better than that! I just dropped off a 6 pack of house-made cider (8.5%abv) and we're planning on doing a mead together sometime in the next year as he has two bee hives.

His idea actually. He's well read in stuff like GRRM and Robert Jordan (as am I) so it just makes sense. Work on Elder Scrolls, read fantasy, own bee hives? Make mead!

I just finished bottling 2.5cs of cider myself. Beyond a bourbon recipe I came up with two years ago that I need to try to recreate, there's not much else on my list as far as brewing/fermenting.

It's the wrong season, but Skeeter-Pee is pretty good.

I like the idea of home brewing, but I'm too lazy to get into it.

Homebrewing isn't a lot of work.  It's only maybe 2 hours of actual work here and there, and weeks of waiting for the yeast to work for you.

Yeah, it's about as much work as making soup, then letting it sit in a bucket. There's rinsing bottles and all that, but that's not for weeks later.

You know how many PBRs I can drink in two hours?

So I can pour the beer into a bowl from a can, microwave it for a minute, and be done?
