I just shot my a5 with RT for the first time, and i thought when u held down the trigger it kept shooting, but that didnt happen, i had to keep pulling it like a regular trigger..... Is it suppose to keep shooting like an auto? Or what?

It's supposed to reset the trigger for you. If you hold it down really hard, it'll feel like full auto. It basicly just pushes the trigger back into the normal position really fast so you can shoot faster.

You have to "sweetspot" the trigger in order to make it fuction like full auto. You turn the screw on the side of your grip frame out, and then back in while test firing until you recieve the proper amount of trigger bounce.

Exactly. To get an awesome functioning R/T, you have to do some tuning, and you have to most importantly practice.

Dude, Iono if you have the SUPER RT MOD or not.. But if you don't, i suggest you do it!!!! You'll wet in ur pants once you do that mod...Your RT will be Shootin STUPID FAST..plus it's free... just call tippmann and ask for the bigger 1/8 inch hose and fittings for your marker and say that you have a low pressure kit. It works by sending excess blowback gas to a psiton that sits behind the trigger, which in turn returns the trigger super fast creating trigger bounce and a "full auto" effect.

You have to hold the trigger about halfway down for full auto.

ok the response trigger is designed to take the excess gas & use it to throw a bolt like object into the back of the trigger. If you want the full auto effect from it you will have to pull the trigger and hold it at the right point so that the response hits the trigger and pushes out, hits the trigger and gets pushed back in and shoots, you cant just hold the trigger down & get full auto, you have to pull the trigger and hold it so it is some where in the middle of the pull-it is like an art to get it done and will take practice- i feel it is almost not worth the trouble and that you would be better off pacticing snap shooting for speedball or accuate shooting while moving
