I must say, one hell of a good drink over ice. Can't wait to explore the world of bourbons....
I over indulged drinking half a 26er tonight... never had such a happy drunk feeling in my life |

jim beam is not great bourbon. It does go very well with coke. Get yourself a bottle of Woodford Reserve if you want a really good bourbon.

My roommate won a couple handles of some absolutely awful whiskey...like I don't believe that it passed any sort of inspection for safe consumption by humans. It came in a plastic bottle, and was roughly the color of coffee.

Also, Vodka, along with most other clear spirits, is nasty. give me whiskey, whisky, or spiced rum any day over them.

My whiskey of choice however is my good friend Jack. He's never done me wrong, even when i finished off a liter in right around 6 hours. And i was the only one drinking from it. Right now I'm drinking a nice stiff white russian. Chocolate milk anybody? |

Well tonight started out with driving by a woman covered in blood, then going to the pub and learning its all you can eat peanuts and you throw the shells on the floor. the waitress was older but omg SO cute, perfect rack for her age and size deff had no kids. drank a double jack and coke ate 20, 39 cent prawns when i got my bill i told the waitress i was 17 and the look on her face was priceless. then we left, went to a liqour store bought some german warstiner dunkle and poured it out on the cross walk because it was soooooooooooo nasty. drove to the liqour store by my house, bought a 26er downed half of it on my deck with some friends along with finishing off some local irish style red ale and some irish whiskey
i loves me my jim beam watch the language sonny boy. Edited by Reb Cpl - 27 May 2009 at 6:59pm |

Why not just stick with the more precise unit of measurement? |

Win. If you don't like whisky/bourbon then there's something wrong with you. |

My favorite whiskey is EW- Green label, and I don't care who knows it. I just enjoy it more than the aged stuff.

Edit:
Stupid hotlinked image won't show.... George T Stagg is the only bourbon worth drinking. Once you've had it, there is no other that will slake your thirst. Of course, Blanton's isn't too shabby either. Edited by tallen702 - 27 May 2009 at 11:43am |

I like jim beam. it's honest, goes down smooth, and doesn't surprise you. When I'm poor and want to get hammered, yukon jack from the freezer does the job. Otherwise it's dewar's white label and/or beer. The drunkest i've been lately involved playing slap the bag.
