Topic: PMI remote linePosted: 24 June 2004 at 11:38am |

I just got the PMI coiled remote high pressure kit. It has somthing called a slide check on it. Is it to bleed the hose before taking the gun off? And on the on/off valve on the tank side of the line, is it supposed to leak out when it is turned all the way off? Is there a way to not waste so much air when disconnecting the gun from the line?

I dont know exactly what you are talking about but when you put the remote line on your gun screw it all the way into the gun but when you are done using it unscrew the top knob turn the co2 off so no air is wasted but the hose will his to bleed the remaining air in the hose. I hope this will help you.

One thing you're SUPPOSED to do when unscrewing a tank without On/Off switch is shoot the gun while unscrewing- this way gives the leaking CO2 somewhere to go without blasting frigid cold air everywhere. I learned this the hard way in the dead of winter when I was unscrewing my tank between my legs- no, it didn't feel good. At all.
