I was wondering what the worst weakness or weaknesses of the flatline barrel were?

I would say the greatest weakness of the flatline is...
Operator Error.

Which flatline are we talking about anyway?? The 98
or A-5 flatline??

My brother's A-5 Flatline barrel is accurate, easy to clean, the balls break once in a while.

And if you don't think this is all true than it is operator's fault.

once the ball reaches about 100 feet it is very vulnerable to wind and makes it inaccurate

the flatline is easy to clean just get a straight squegee fold the rubber circle down and put it down the barrel once it hits the bottom of the barrel the rubber circle resets and then you just have to pull it out, so i am going to say how expensive it is is it's weakness

Nothing stops the unbeatable force of me and my Tipmmann A-5.

Morons who can't install it and go to shoot it and it breaks all their paint, then they go online and tell people it sucks.

The flatline is not picky on paint. My friend has one, all he uses are CORE and he hasn't broken a ball yet.

I'd take the lapco bigshot over those choices. Whenever I use my Flatline on my A-5 r/t, the balls pretty much go around the target while with another barrel like a Dye UL, the balls go in a consistant rope so I'm not sure whether its kick or general lack of quality that makes it unaccurate but I'd recommend you steer clear of it altogether.

At higher rates of fire it tends to do that. I don't know why but some people think the airflow in the barrel gets messed up when you shoot fast and that decreases accuracy. I've had the same thing happen to me so I know exactly what you're talking about but when I noticed it I experimented. I tried shooting slow and then shooting fast while watching my accuracy. When you shoot slowly your shots fly very accurately but when you up the ROF they go all over the place, seemingly everywhere but where you want them to. If you play a lot of speedball or your just very trigger happy then get a bigshot instead but if you can control yourself then you should be fine with a flatline. You get a ton of range and the trajectory is extremely flat, my jaw dropped when I first used it. For best results with it you obviously want the best paint but you it's not like you won't be able to hit a thing if you don't use marbs or other RPS paint. I had very good results with team colors at west point and that stuff isn't expensive at all. The barrel is expensive but you have a huge advantage over the enemy because of the range it gives you.
