 I just bought an a5 with flatline barrel and was wondering if anybody knows the stock setting on the a5 for the velocity. I want it to be at 270 but im not sure.

There is no real stock velocity setting. They are all different. So first thing you need to do before you play paintball is to chrono up your marker. If you play at a real paintball place they will have a chrono. If you just play out in the woods you are going to want to look into getting a chrono like the yellow one here. http://www.pbreview.com/products/cat/59/

They are not set at the factory A mine was shooting better than 380 out of the box. A NEW MARKER MUST BE CHRONOGRAPHED,  before shooting it at other players.
a Chronograph is a good way to keep your friends as your friends. If you don't you'll learn some new words and they won't let you play anymore.
