I had heard that they're might be a DM5 coming out in 2005. Does anyone know if this is true or is it a dumb newb rumor. If it is true do you guys think it will drop the price of the DM4 by a couple hundred dollars. Im hoping that if it is true nad if the prices do drop Im going to wait to get a DM4.

I highly doubt it. With the success of the DM4, why would DYE put out another gun to compete with it?
I say in a few years, when Bob Long or WDP etc comes out with something really really nice, and DM4 sales start slumping, thats when they're going to come out wiht a new gun. |

Yea true the DM4 does have great sucess right now. But eh you never know. They could make a DM5 with more milling and a slightly better reg.

Well i would expect something new from DYE. rather it's a dm5 or just something cool. maybe like a big upgrade for it? i dont know

Yea I guess its not after alll. but im not paying an extra 100 dollars for a gun that IMO is already kind of over priced. Ill just wait and hope that after the DM5 is released the DM4's prices will go down. |
