I visited my brother in Norfolk and spent a lot of time on Virginia Beach when I was 9. That was a blast.

I spent a week in VA with my family, my aunt and uncle live there. Anyway, these people are richish, he is a airline pilot and she was a dentist, so they have lots of stuff, but no kids. They have two houses, one in Lynchburg and another on Smith Mountian Lake, the one we stayed at. We stayed at the lake house for three days, during which we fished, tubed, watched my brother face plant every time he tried to ski, swam, and just kinda lounged around. There is this cool lake mall you get to by boat that we ate chinese food at, and an arcade. Later, I got on their jet ski, and as any 17 yearold would do, I proceded to make my mother start crying, my dad yelling, and my uncle saying "Woha!!! I didn't know you could do that!!" I was out in the middle of the lake doing high speed doughnuts and bouncing off of waves, then I headed straight for the dock, and did a 180 turn fast, neatly parking the jetski next to the dock, I mean, right there, close enough to tie it down and get off. I am not alowed to drive it as long as I am under my parent's roof. That was my vacation. |
