the A5 would be better but if you can see if you can get a better gun. Like a Automag or a cocker.

If you want a gun with great reliability, great customer service, built
like a rock, tons of upgrades, an un rivialed look, with a stock
performance that out does Tippmann (no offense but numbers dont
lie) get an Armotech. www.armotech.com.
I respect tippmann but the only tippmann markers that can go toe to toe with an armo is one with tons of time and money put into it. |

^ I Have never Delt with Netter Customer Service then Tippmann.. ^ I Have also never seen a "Broken" Pro/Carbine before in my life ^ Armortech guns are way to much Money for what you need. ^ I Bet the Pro/Carbine has 10x more upgrades then any Armorteech.

I would give the nod to the A-5 because of the Flatline option. |

Stop saying 'buy a cocker' and what not, he asked for an opinion on only two guns A-5 and a Pro/carbine. I've never shot a pro/carbine before but if tippmann makes it it's gotta be good (gun-wise). But I've had my A-5 for over a year and it's a great gun, no real problems at all and a lot of newbs are 'afraid' of the gun Oh ya and I have a question I'm thinkin about saving for a good speedball type gun. My price range is like anything $500 or less. Thanks |

well dude just so know the rt-ule with a singel trigger is almost the same price as an a-5, but the mag is jsut as duriable and can be uprgaded to be alot better than an a-5 so i would go with a mag they are so great

^^^ Translator please?!?! ^^^ Seriously though, as mentioned, he asked about TWO GUNS ONLY ... not for our scatterbrained suggestions. If I were going non-Tippmann, it would be an AGD Tac-One all the way.

If I have to stay in tippy products then... A-5 can shoot fast
gas hog but it has more options. The Pro carbine well theres a reason
feilds use them as rentals, You can do more to them than a 98 and itll
still fire. But the A-5 can be adapted to any style of play while the
carbine is limited. So I say take the A-5

go for an A-5, and if you want it would help to get the flatline barrel system. I am planning to get one.
