$1000 for gun and upgrades. Please help

Ok first I was going to go and just spend $400 on an A-5 with E Grip.  Now I think I am going to suffer through renting a gun till I save up around $1000 or less for a gun and upgrades.  I would rather get a really kick ass gun for a good amount of money then a rather decent gun now that I will need to keep for awhile.  Problem is I need to know some thoughts on the matter since I am a noob to paintball.  I have not played paintball since 1991.

Problem:  $1000 to spend on gun and upgrades.  What gun and upgrades should I get if you were buying a marker?

for me, if i had a grand for paintball, id get s red 03 shocker w/ vision and a freeflow bolt kit....but thats just me

well your gonna need to set aside money for a tank and hopper correct...

i say get an angel speed or a fly or somthin used or a trix or shocker or somthin along those lines

edit id recomend jsut buying the a5 then becoming a good player then buying a gun to match your playing skills

dont know if you're gonna like the viking??? look for a post with the qloader vs halo, Viking 30+bps thats fast

http://www.paintballgateway.com/wdpanspblduf.html get that and it comes with everything u need except a hopper and for that get a eggy 2 and u will be set and have 133 dollars left look at the eggy here http://www.paintballgateway.com/vleviimolocl.html and with that u could get a nice profiler for 89 look here http://www.paintballgateway.com/vforcegoggles.html and u will have 44 dollars left then u could save up another about 20 dollars and u could buy a nice empire harness look here http://www.paintballgateway.com/em43ha.html and that comes with pods and u will be set on everything with a kick ass gun.  Now to get that tank to work with speed all u have to do is take off the mini reg remove the c-clip with needle nose pliers and bang the reg on a table and a thing with washers will slid out, remove one washer and ur set and resamble.  That way of doing it was approved by the angel master techs and is required to do if ur gonna get a speed and use an hp tank.

Don't get a Trix unless you can afford a high-efficiency bolt kit
(Evolve, I believe)--- otherwise, you'll get about 300 shots of a 47/
3000. I'd look into an Angel Speed ($800), Evo 2 ($70, SENSi has
trouble with Halo's), and a 47/4500 ($130). Otherwise, E-Cockers
are really cheap right now, you can buy an 04 SuperStock for $650.
If you're a little tighter on cash, the perfect setup would be a B2K4
w/ PDS (and possibly a Chaos chip), a Halo B and a 68/4500. Used
Halo B's are also great. I got a Rip Drive V 35 Halo B for $120, works
reall well.

**Edit**- Another good option would be a Dragun T1 (The One) with
a Jam Bolt or Shocktech Superfly, a clamping feedneck, a good
hopper (Halo B, Evo II, q-loader if that's your thing), and a 68/3000.
Timmy for under $500.
