Which one of these guns would you reccomend for a newbie pump player? What are the pros and cons of them? Thanks

The SL 68 is built like a rock, but its not made anymore. Check Ebay. ACI maverick is a decent pump, pretty cheap, and it comes stock with an autotrigger. The tigershark is kinda cheap, but not all that bad. PGP is a great pump gun, its a pistol, very tough and very accurate. Never heard of the Airsoft paintball shotgun. Probably one of the best pump guns for under $250 would be the Phantom. I don't have the cash for a Phantom, so I ordered an ACI Maverick. It should be here tomorrow!

i've shot a couple of Sniper IIs and i'm pretty convinced that they're very solid, well made guns. my pgp also shoots great, but its limited in co2 and paintball capacity.

I love my SL, was my first gun and still have it. Glad to see the Sniper II mentioned, cuz of course it's the the father of the Autococker boys and girls. I bought the SL because it was cheaper and a bit more rugged. Of course there was the Sterling, the Sheridans, the Bushmasters, the Lapcos, etc., back in the day, but the Tippy and WGP still take top honors. |
