can you just put a nitro tank on the a5 and shoot it like you would co2, or do you have to get an upgrade for it?

all you need for nitro or comp-air (compressed air) is the tank. thats another great advantage of tippmann. but a reg would greatly help.

That's the advantage of a Tippmann? Actually you can just go ahead and screw a tank right into any gun and you're ready to go.

yea, u dont need anything else. a regulator or comp-air system just gives u more shots per tank and makes them more consistent.

Nitro alone without a regulator or the low pressure kit works great in the A-5. I use nitro because It's better for higher rates of fire, consistent shooting, and playing when its cold out. Nitro is all around better than Co2, so if you can afford the tank and the fills, it will improve your game. Get a reg or lp kit to get more out of nitrogen.

HPA fills are cheaper than c02. i dont think barely any places use pure n2 anymore.
