i was thinkin and just wondering if this would work. (im not going to do it i just want to know) say you made a 98 but with everything in the back takin out, linkage arm, back bolt, spring, and the valve moved back, then the front bolt have a spring going out of it in to a slot in the valve, than a notch made for the sear in the front bolt. also the cocking nob thing would be on the front bolt, im 90% this would work. except im not sure if the gun would re cock, probably jimy rig some hoses so it would though, if no one understands ill make some pictures
*EDIT* i know there would need some serius mods to the gun for the valve to let the gas go withought the back bolt but i think it could be done Edited by FROG MAN |

Well....
You realize that the rear bolt opens the valve right? How else are you going to fire the gun? And how is a plastic front bolt going to not get murdered by the hardened steel sear? |

i thought of all those, you know how i said it would take some modding, the one i thought was maybe you could make some pnuematic way in reasling the air without useing the rear bolt. and ya the plastic/derlin bolt would get murderd by the sear.

some one on the tippmann forum thought of having the spring between the front bolt and the power tube. that idea still had a rear bolt. but if u used this idea, you'd need 2 or 3 linkage arms so the rear bolt doesnt bind. you could make it look like an autococker and an external rear bolt. i recommend that you keep the the rearbolt or get a shorter one because the gas needs to be released when the front bolt is foreward so no matter how you do it you will end up with two bolts. try searching for that post Edited by saruu |

you could make a metal front bolt and move the trigger and sear forward. then bam. Vash the Stempede's hidden gun.
