trouble oiling a tippmann

you cant have too much oil. it may get a little annoying having your gun  all slippery, but just wipe out whats leaking. next time you oil though, use a q-tip and put oil on all moving parts.

air-tool oil should be fine as long as its not petrolium based, which will wear away your o-rings quickly. read the ingrediants.

the best oil however is hoppes oil.

I dont really see a problem either. But too much oil inside your gun, good not always be too good, but it cant hurt nothing, it just justs annoying to have oil shooting out of every crevice of your gun. 

I would say, strip it, clean all of the parts. If you know how to, clean the valve..if not, its nothing big, just dont mess with it. But strip the gun, dry it up. put a little.. little. bit of oil in it.. Like 2 drops in the asa for the valave and most parts. and like 1-2 small drops through the cocking area.. and thats about it..I would do what trigger happy said to do with the q-tip, and oil the moving parts, i.e.: trigger, sear, cocking bolt, spring ( dont really do much..), front of the power tube, which the front bolt moves on, and the cocking rod area. This would probly be the best way, and most effective way to oil a gun..

When you apply, just a drop or two on the rear bolt. Before a game, put a drop or five in the ASA, and, I keep a 9oz on me for this, dry fire like 30 times. You can use that 9oz just for dryfiring and larger tanks for playing...
