    Posted: 07 November 2004 at 11:57am

I have a friend who has the R/T system for his Tippmann 98c and loves it. I say that u can shoot full-auto with it and that it is farily gas efficient. But i have a couple of questions...

  1. Can it be used with Nitrogen? (I know it can be used with Co2 but I want to know... Stupid question huh?)
  2. Could I possibly install it myself, or do I need a air smith to do it?

That's all of the questions I have. I know there is probaly a thread about this some where so I will search around.

First thing: You cant shoot full auto normally. It can if the blowback of the trigger makes your finger bounce back on it (Its hard to explain)

Im pretty sure it shoots with nitro.

-Tippmann 98C
-Dead-on Double Trigger
-20oz and 14oz CO2
-14" Teardrop Barrel
*Coming this christmas*

What lost was trying to say is that the R/T needs to be properly tuned before it will shoot "full auto". The directions that come with it will tell you how to install and tune the R/T

^ Okay.

So basically I would have to tune the R/T system to have it shoot full-auto. I will probaly by it from the shop that my friend got his. They will install it there for U and tune it for u for free. So I won't have to wory about it. The air smith will do it.

and like "you won't see me" said the response trigger shoots full auto but its od, its called sweet spotting you can sort of hold the trigger half way down and since the r/t trigger pops back so fast you just let it   bounce off you finger, you kind have top use it and work with it, really cool once you get it, thats my next upgrade, if you haven't had a chance to play with one yet play with it before you buy it

How can someone have so many posts in so little time and not know the answers to these questions?  Do a search next time, because these same questions are asked everday

I'm going to buy a R/T kit for my tippy, and i don't want someone to tune it for me, i enjoy doing it myself and like to tinker and stuff.

My Marker - Tippmann 98 Custom with: 14" Empire Twister, Double Trigger, Lightened Trigger Spring, Expansion Chamber, and 20oz tank. Coming Soon: CAR Stock, Rocket Cock 2, R/T Kit, and J&J Ceramic

Since you asked, i'll be the only one to answer you instead of flaming. Yes it is pretty easy to disable. You just remve a banjo fitting and replace it with the other wone it comes with. This will shut off the air going to the R/T and therefore it doesn't operate.
