The A5 with flatline is considerably easier to use, clean, etc. The flatline is very temperamental, and on any given day you might want to switch barrels midday. Doing this on a 98C is much more of a pain in the ass in the field then on an A5. The 98C flatline is 14" versus the A5 flatline which is about 9". The A5 is lighter, and easier to clean with exception to the cyclone. It also has more options for higher rates of fire down the line. |

Well, i'd go with the A-5 just because its a better marker. I heard that the A-5 Flatline barrel is also easier to install. But the main thing is price. How much money do you have? We can go from there. Also, the flatline is all its cracked up to be, read the Flatline Sticky post before you buy. |

What gun setup would make a better sniper weapon? Custom 98 with flatline, etc, or an a-5 with a flatline, etc?
