Hia Guys after an awsome 12 game day my head looks and feels like a bag of golf balls!
i got 3 point blank headshots and it hurt like hell
anyway, what sort of head protection do you use/recomend?
a steel helmet would look a bit daft |

A regular mask should work fine, but if you want to go all out, look at this: http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c.322764/sc.2/category.239 /.f P.s. Who was shooting you in the head at point blank ranges; that's pretty irresponsible of them, not to mention stupid. Edited by Slimz.357 |

Cheers Slimz.357
smooth website mate and I like the look of some of the gear especialy the helmets!! that will stop a point blank head shot! can you fit a face mask on as well though?
we were playing assult games yesterday where one team needs to take the defenders base. when defending the opposition move right up to the bunker or barrier you are hiding next to, pop up and Zap you!
thats how we play it in the UK hard and fast....charge in blatting away. i got a bloody nose, spit lip, 3 bad headshots, 3 fingers that look like sausages ...... but we give as good as we get and like the 'risk' as well as the buzz of charging down the enemy
we then have a laugh and a smoke after, compaire wounds and remain the best of friends
but i DO want better gloves and head protection! i may be mad but i aint stuipid Edited by scott essery |

A regular maks should work well and then wear a hat or headband with it. I used to use a backwards baseball cap but have moved to using a headband and that helps reduce the sting when your getting bunkered. As for a great mask I suggest the V-force profiler. |

Try Dye Invison, they are a great paintball mask that are extremely comfortable and you can put a fan in them!

You play just like I do. We have had several endurance games where your not out until you give up. We decided to tone it down a little after my buddys wife complained about the 57 welts on his body. Try the V force, good protection and field of view. There are fingerless gloves for paintball that will protect your hands and still allow some measure of dexterity. If you still have problems with head shots, adjust your tactics. If it doesn't work, try something different. Pain is the mother of tactical invention. Play hard, shoot your friends, have a beer. Keep having fun. If after the dust has settled, everyone can laugh about it, then your mission has been accomplished. |

Any mask will keep you safe, but if you want comfort get a V-force profiler, best mask ever made. Nothing is even close to the comfort that mask has, nothing. It is soft, light, easy to clean, looks cool, has a high bounce rate, and most important it has very nice visibility.

I take it you guys play on a unregulated field right? If thats the case then, I would suggest you get one those helmets in opsgear.com that will fit yer mask, but you need to specify on what brand and type of mask you are using in order to find out which helmet can be used together and as fer the gloves check into these links.... http://www.galls.com/style.html?style=GL153&assort=clear ance http://www.galls.com/style.html?style=GL196&assort=gener al_catalog http://www.galls.com/style.html?style=GL206&assort=gener al_catalog http://www.galls.com/style.html?style=GL211&assort=gener al_catalog http://www.uscav.com/productinfo.aspx?productid=6501&tab ID= http://www.uscav.com/productinfo.aspx?productid=7774&tab ID= this the same pair of gloves I use fer work and when I go paintballing in the woods. http://www.uscav.com/productinfo.aspx?productid=7946&tab ID= http://www.uscav.com/productinfo.aspx?productid=6494&tab ID=
