Silencers are illegal. So no, they don't. Scopes don't really work well in paintball either, the guns just aren't accurate enough, and you have to arch your shots up, making a scope useless.

scopes are'nt useless... i have a pro-carbine and it shoots perfectly and with deadly welting precision.

just line the scope to the middle of the barrel and the raise the cross hairs alot. use a red dot... it also helps too spend time to even out the velocity... tourney guys will say that you don't need a scope because there guns aren't accurate enough.  i'm the king of accuracy... if you need any more tips then private message me

your welcome... i'm an a-hole if you were wondering...

Theres no such thing as a sniper/machine gunner and even in the real world....such a thing wouldnt exist.

Using a silencer on paint marker is totally useless and you would be sacrificing performace and accuracy over appearance

they sell boomstics for all sizes at www.paintballgear.com

and yea...you cant buy a silencer for a paintball gun and if you go the illegal way and make one it messes up ur accuracy any way, so just go with a quiet barrel like the boomstick

Are you sayin that the fg42 is a sniper/machine gun rifle?

Think again Jim, it aint close to being a sniper rifle at all, its more of an assualt rifle...

-_- Its not a sniper rifle.

Could somone define sniper so i can make my next
point...

In any case a scope doesnt amke you a sniper, it
makes you somone who wants to see a lil farther
and aim better. A laser and RT dont make you a
machine gunner. Also, I believe, but i may be wrong,
that some states allow silencers for paintball guns,
I'm not 100% sure though. The states that dont,
however, might aprove teh silencer for a paintball
gun alng with taking $200 of your well earned money
to piss you off...i mean for taxes. Its not worth it.
