Well, I haven't had this out in a while... I feel bad that it just sits in the closet and rarely sees light. So, should I sell it to make room or hang on to it? I really kinda think she deserves someone to keep tinkering with her... but I also feel that I've spent a WHOLE LOT of time on her. For those that forgot... TIPPMANN 98 CUSTOM Added Equipment: - GTA E-Bolt - GTA Comp-Air (LP) System - WGP Black Magic Regulator - GTA Double Trigger - Freak Barrel System - Halo B with Z-code and - White Pearl .45 Grip Panels - Paintball Inc. Drop Forward - Quick Strip Stainless Thumbscrews Modifications: - Raised “TIPPMANN 98 CUSTOM” Milled Off - Rear Sight Milled Down - E-Bolt - Blow Back Vents Drilled into Body - Blow Back Vents Drilled into Elbow - Polished Internals (do this BEFORE you paint!!!) - Custom Chrome Graphics - “Black Gold” Paint and Clearcoat - Rear Trigger Stop (Adjustable With Set Screw) - Front Trigger Stop (Also Adjustable) - E-Bolt Movement Sealed - Elbow “Slop” Removed The Trigger now has about 4 mm of travel (tops) and the marker rips. It is obviously not the fastest thing out there due to the feed design, but at the chronometer at the shop when I went to tune it up, it shot just over 13 BPS without chops. The marker looks awesome and it definitely gets its share of attention

i can see the pics, not that i havent seen them before, but...Rico, you have put alot of work into that 98. Its so 'you' that you really cant sell it to someone else. Hell, you put "Ricos Revenge" on the side of it. You have personalized it beyond the point of selling it and getting what its worth to you. Just keep it. It is a masterpiece of a tippmann 98 custom.

And I would hang onto that thing. For the time put into it it would never be worth what you would get for it. That's why I always will keep my 98C. |
